Customer Service Voodoo

About Me

Brandon CaudleBrandon Caudle is a self proclaimed “People Person in a Digital World.” After graduating from Florida State University, he decided to travel the world, so he found a willing sponsor in his Uncle Sam. Several years of working outdoors in pouring rains and muddy fields convinced him that he needed to escape the boiling summers and freezing winters of the U.S. Army, so he decided that he would find a “nice, soft, cushy job indoors where no one yelled at him anymore and he could work just eight hours a day”…

…and so he found his way to a Help Desk. Fortunately for Brandon, the skills he learned in Latin America and Asia have translated well into managing diverse Customer Support teams across different remote locations. As the Computer Support Center Manager for a large company in California, he worked 12-plus hour days and was on-call 24×7, but the rewards of working with a World Class Support Organization far outweighed the inconveniences of being called at home on Christmas Eve for after hours support.

Brandon now shares his Customer Service experiences through speaking at meetings, conferences and events. His passion for Customer Service and his outgoing personality are evident in his engaging and entertaining presentations. An avid writer, Brandon has been published in HDI’s Support World, he blogs here at www.customerservicevoodoo.com and has published a book by the same name.

If this has peaked your interest, feel free to contact Brandon and see what he is like in person!

Brandon, you’re so perceptive about people and situations – always have been (can remember you in class in school). You always had a smile on your face and you ALWAYS were kind. I learned a lot from you and the strength you showed in school. There are people that I’ve met (as I’m sure that all people at some point come across) that jut touch me [people]. Some people, like yourself, may not even realize the impact that you had on someone’s life. It’s like you had a ‘gift’; a gift of being able to be strong in mind and spirit (things people noticed and admired, I know that I did). Because of you (or at least looking back) I treated people the way that I would have wanted to be treated. There were plenty of times that I got treated like crap from other people but I didn’t waiver – and then I made friends, a lot of friends while moving and growing up. That smile that you always had rubbed off on me and I’ve always told myself that when you smile at someone, you usually don’t offend them. Keep being a great guy, take care of your family and your beautiful wife – you’ve been an inspiration and I try to ‘Pay it forward’ every chance I get.
    God Bless,
    Tina
