Who’s the Boss?

October 16 is Bosses Day in the United States.  This “holiday” started in 1958 and is an opportunity for employees to thank their boss for “being kind and fair throught the year.” While it is not a well known nor widely celebrated holiday, I did find this quote online about Bosses Day.

“There is only one boss. The customer. And he can fire everybody in the company from the chairman on down, simply by spending his money somewhere else.”

So true and so well stated.  In this time of economic troubles, we should take a note from Customer Service Week (which wasonly last week) and remember to thank and take care of our Customers. For, they truly are our bosses.

Thanks for reading,

Brandon
